Abstract

This study, as a component of the National Research Program CERES, has the main objective the establishment of economic effciency of manufacturing new bio-active substances (BAS) from insects to produce keratolitic products used in medicine and cosmentics, under the conditions of both complying with the international standards in this field, and reducing the negative environmental effects. Based on technical entomology, ENTOMOTHERAPY represents an absolute new direction of both modern medicine and cosmetics. This research consists of manufacturing (extracting) and using of BAS with keratolitic effect over keratinic formations treatment of several types, as: warts, keratosis, seborrheic excrescences, collosities, melanoma, carcinoma, cheloma and other cutaneous formations provoking discomfort.
