Priorities Regarding The Development Of Public Administration Management

Abstract

The objectives of this paper are reflected in expressing the need for change in public administration by promoting the new public management, in order to improve the quality of public services in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, which involves applying the principles of sustainable development. An objective of the study was to explain and interpret the concepts of efficiency and effectiveness in public administration. We have presented the direction of the work in the public administration in the developed countries and in our country and we have presented the priorities and coordinates regarding the development of public administration management. Through public administration, governments realise the needs of certain groups of beneficiaries, the policies that should be reviewed and the new policies to be introduced so that society should be able to provide the necessary public services. Fair, open and constructive collaboration between citizens and public administration may lead to convergence between the public interest and the objectives which public institutions propose and the actions they take.
