Tensions de rôle et stress professionnel chez les cadres de santé à l’hôpital public. L’effet modérateur des stratégies d’ajustement

The health actors in public hospitals must respond to both the principles of public service and economic performance logic. This research is interested in the adjustment strategies used to cope with the role stress and the professional stress of nurse managers, whose role evolves. The results of a survey conducted among 445 nurse managers show several forms of role stress that promote the job stress. The study also reveals a coping, sometimes increasing, sometimes attenuating the job stress generated by these forms of role stress.
