Abstract

This article is in line with a general reflection pertaining to the reform of pensions and the extension of professional activity. This work highlights the links between the quality of the career path and the self rated health status of workers being 50 of age and over. In this aim, using Siegrist?s researches, we adopt a model of logistic regression which illustrates that there is an association between secure career paths and good health. We also show that security in career path and preservation of the workers? health are prerequisites for the extension of a professional activity. Classification JEL : C51 ; H55 ; I19 ; J26
