10. Systèmes électoraux, qualité de la représentation : qu’apporte la science économique à la science politique ?

Abstract

Two characteristic features of modern economics are, one the one hand, the use of the rational model (actors are not pre-determined but act according to their goals) and, on the other hand, attention to normative (which criteria define the collective ?good??) and prescriptive (what policy recommendations stem from the research?) issues. The article shows, on the basis on some examples, how these intellectual attitudes contribute to political science.
