Création d'un Fonds d'investissement d'État en Algérie : quels enjeux ?

Abstract

Among the main challenges faced by poorly diversified economies such as the Algerian one, is the development of production-oriented investment leveraging the abundant domestic savings. Given the lack of actors financing productive investment in Algeria, we recommend the creation of a State Investment Fund that will play this role. This fund?s strategy will be oriented toward long term domestic investment. We will define the strategic objectives and the recommended organisation for the fund.
