L'administration des aires marines protégées en Afrique de l'Ouest

Abstract

In the Banc d?Arguin in Mauritania, in the Saloum Delta in Senegal and in the Bijagos Archipelago in Guinea-Bissau, the marine protected areas (MPA) are special forms of administration. The legal norms are adopted and set up by the governments whose methods and capacities of social control are very weak. The CONSDEV project, for its legal part, analyzed the governance of these three important AMP of West Africa.
