La genèse du TGV, une innovation contempraine de l'épuisement du fordisme

Abstract

The TGV is a minor innovation. It is initially the product of a society. Then it makes it evolve. Now, the genesis of the TGV is contemporary of "fordism crisis". Thus, trying to read the first one through the second one could be pertinent. This paper quickly presents a reading of the exhaustion of the fordism. Then, it considers the TGV like opening sign of the railway world to the competing pressure. It will be seen then that this true opening is remained partial. Lastly, the TGV appears worked by new modes of social organization. Looking back the genesis of the TGV through the macro-economic transformations of its time allows to better understand how this transport supply fits today in the reality of our society.
