Prix et adoption d’une nouvelle technologie dans la lutte contre le paludisme au Burkina Faso

Abstract

Analysant un échantillon d’environ 3 000 ménages, cette étude évalue l’effet d’une subvention sur la demande de prévention du paludisme. L’évaluation repose sur un essai randomisé ou expérimentation au cours duquel les ménages ont été alloués de façon aléatoire à l’un des trois groupes de traitement, chacun correspondant à un niveau de subvention sur le prix d’une nouvelle technologie de prévention : une pommade hydratante antimoustiques.
