Despre schimbare la nivelul bibliotecilor în era globalizării

Abstract

Articolul abordează tema bibliotecilor - organizaţii care au trecut prin numeroase transformări de-a lungul timpului - în contextul schimbărilor generate de globalizare şi dezvoltarea continuă a tehnologiilor informaţiei şi comunicaţiilor şi subliniază faptul că, în aceste condiţii, bibliotecile trebuie să-şi reformeze managementul, să-şi adapteze în permanenţă serviciile şi produsele pe care le oferă utilizatorilor pentru a-şi menţine şi consolida o poziţie importantă pe piaţa furnizării de informaţie şi a transferului de cunoaştere.
