Možnosti využívania obnoviteľných zdrojov energie z pohľadu environmentálnej politiky SR v kontexte energetickej politiky EÚ

Abstract

Využívanie obnoviteľných zdrojov energie (OZE) je jednou z možností zvýšenia energetickej samostatnosti, efektívnosti i účinnosti a zníženia dovoznej závisloti od fosílnych energií pri využívaní disponibilných národných prírodných zdrojov pre tvorbu energie a tepla. Na Slovensku sú najpriaznivejšie podmienky k využívaniu obnoviteľných zdrojov v hydroenergetickom sektore (vodné elektráne), obrovský potenciál ma biomasa (fytomasa a dendromasa), biopalivá, za určitých predpokladov geotermálna a slnečná energia (fotovolataika a solárne ohrievače). Piliere slovenskej stratégie vyššieho využívania OZE sú v synergickej zhode so schválenou energetickou politikou EÚ. Dôležitým aspektom motivácie k aktívnejšiemu využívania OZE je systém vládnych opatrení na podporu ich vyššieho využívania a environmentálna regulácia.
