Vybrané otázky súčasného chápania hospodárskej diplomacie

Abstract

Hospodárska diplomacia je diplomacia s ekonomickým zameraním – diplomacia, ktorej úlohou je ovplyvňovať politiky zahraničných vlád a regulačné rozhodnutia, ktoré ovplyvňujú svetový obchod a investície. Úlohou hospodárskej diplomacie je realizácia cieľov zahranično-obchodnej politiky štátu, tzn. pôsobenie v hospodárskej sfére. Diplomacia politická plní zámery zahraničnej politiky štátu. Termín „hospodárska diplomacia“ sa dostáva čím ďalej, tým viac do praxe, čo jasne zdôrazňuje úlohu dnešnej ekonomiky pre činnosť diplomatických úradov. Jednou z úloh dnešného veľvyslanca je zabezpečiť podmienky pre prítomnosť svojich národných podnikov na trhu výrobkov a služieb v krajine rezidencie.
