Medzinárodný terorizmus ako jedna z mnohých podôb ozbrojeného násilia

Abstract

Autor sa v príspevku zaoberá problematikou terorizmu ako fenoménu súčasných medzinárodnopolitických vzťahov. Na jednotlivých príkladoch rozoberá viaceré formy teroristických zoskupení, ich motívy a aktivity destabilizujúce politický systém a narúšajúce demokratické fungovanie spoločnosti. Príspevok zároveň analyzuje efektivitu globálnych opatrení v súvislosti s bojom proti terorizmu a rozoberá činnosť medzinárodných štruktúr OSG a EÚ. Viaceré vyspelé štáty sa rozhodli individuálne bojovať proti terorizmu a ich opatrenia sa týkajú rôznych oblastí ochrany. V rámci demokratických princípov majú vyspelé krajiny obmedzené možnosti ako bojovať proti terorizmu a v súčasnosti sa prijaté opatrenia sa skôr týkajú obrany pred terorizmom ako jeho potláčaniu.
