Response Of The United Nations To The Humanitarian Crisis Of The Myanmar Rohingya

Abstract

Delivering humanitarian assistance is one of the main tasks of the United Nations and its agencies. According to the UN, there are about 130 million people in the world who currently need their help. Humanitarian crisis of Rohingya people fleeing from Myanmar in 2017 is one of the cases. In this article, we first introduce the UN humanitarian system and, following the example of Myanmar Rohingya, we try to evaluate the effectiveness of the UN system in dealing with humanitarian crises.
