Abstract

The shock produced by the pandemic crisis on the public sector had a strong impact both on access to services of general interest and on their quality. The Coronavirus Pandemic has hardly hit the states of the world, forcing them to react beyond traditional limits - in an effort to protect their citizens - and to fight not only with a virus but also with their own shortcomings and dysfunctions and forcing them to reset their public services - especially health services - extremely quickly, in response to the crossed context. In Romania, the level of unsatisfied needs in terms of medical assistance has increased, but new opportunities have also appeared that can lead to the recovery and modernization of medical services.
