Abstract

Im Rahmen endogener Entwicklungsstrategien sind Genossenschaften wichtige Akteure in regionalen Netzwerken, in denen sie als Promotoren zur Mobilisierung lokaler und regionaler Ressourcen beitragen. Die vorliegende Abhandlung beschreibt und analysiert, welche Leistungen die VR-Bank Nordeifel eG als Genossenschaftsbank zum Erhalt und zur Verbesserung der Lebensgrundlagen und der Lebensqualität in der strukturschwachen Region Nordeifel erbringt. Im Zentrum der Ausführungen stehen ihre Aktivitäten bei der Gründung der Dienstleistungsgenossenschaft Eifel DLG eG.
