Abstract

Die am 18. August 2006 in Kraft getretene Genossenschaftsreform1 hat kleine Genossenschaften von der bisher obligatorischen Prüfung des Jahresabschlusses befreit. Ziel des Gesetzgebers war es, zu einer deutlichen Kostenentlastung hinsichtlich der Prüfungskosten beizutragen. Der Erfolg der Reform erscheint fraglich, bestehen doch die Kreditgeber regelmäßig auf der Vorlage eines geprüften Jahresabschlusses. Wenn schon eine Revision angebracht ist – wofür wenig spricht –, so hätte es sich nach Ansicht der Autoren empfohlen, künftig auf die Geschäftsführungsprüfung zu verzichten.
