Entwicklungstendenzen in der europäischen und internationalen Bankenaufsicht

Abstract

Die europäische und internationale Bankrechtsharmonisierung bedingt Anpassungen der nationalen bankaufsichtlichen Strukturnormen. Die Normen führen zu geänderten Anforderungen für die Eigenkapitalunterlegung risikobehafteter Geschäfte und setzen mithin neue Rahmenbedingungen für die Geschäfts- oder Risikoübernahmemöglichkeiten eines Kreditinstitutes. Neben den Kredit- oder Adressenausfallrisiken werden künftig auch Preisrisiken mit Eigenkapital zu unterlegen sein, so daß die neuen bankaufsichtlichen Vorschriften erhebliche Implikationen für die Kosten- und Produktstrukturen der Institute haben werden. In dem nachstehenden Beitrag wird ein Überblick über den dynamischen Wandel der Bankaufsichtsvorschriften unter Berücksichtigung jüngster internationaler Entwicklungen gegeben und aufgezeigt, auf welche neuen Regelungen sich die Kreditwirtschaft einzustellen.
