Die Reform der Referenzzinssätze EONIA und EURIBOR

Abstract

Finanzgeschäfte im Volumen von mehreren Billionen Euro beziehen sich auf die Referenzzinssätze EONIA und EURIBOR. Manipulationsvorwürfe in Bezug auf die Ermittlung der Zinssätze riefen Regulierer auf den Plan, die verschiedene Vorschriften zur Ermittlung von Benchmarks erließen. Infolgedessen mussten die Referenzzinssätze reformiert bzw. neu entwickelt werden. Der Artikel beschreibt die einzelnen Reformschritte im Zuge der regulierungskonformen Ermittlung der Referenzzinsen der Eurozone sowie noch anstehende Herausforderungen.
