Live-in and Burn-out?: Migrantische Pflegekräfte in deutschen Haushalten

Abstract

Aktuell ist zu beobachten, dass deutsche Familien für die Verrichtung häuslicher Pflegearbeit zunehmend auf Pflegekräfte aus Osteuropa zurückgreifen. Aufgrund der schwachen Regulierung und des Charakters der Arbeit sind die Pflegekräfte darauf verwiesen, ihre Arbeits- und Beschäftigungsbedingungen mit den Familien, zum Teil auch mit den Sorgebedürftigen selbst, auszuhandeln. Anhand eines arbeitssoziologischen Designs wird untersucht, auf welche Machtressourcen sie in ihrem Arbeits- und Beschäftigungsverhältnis zurückgreifen (können). Es wird gezeigt, dass sich migrantische Pflegekräfte vielfach in einer Situation struktureller Machtlosigkeit befinden.
