Abstract

Dementia is a less relevant topic in discussions about work and working societies. Usually dementia is associated with high-aged people which face the loss of cognitive abilities. Nevertheless also younger people of employable age are affected by dementia. This article discusses the relevance and meaning of work for people that are affected by early onset dementia, relatives and professionals in social services. The study uses a qualitative explorative methodical case study-design.
