Abstract

The purpose of the study is to examine the course of the surveyed data with a view to conducting interregional comparisons in relation to the degree of specialization of each region in the different production sectors. As shown, the Region of Attiki has the lead in the period 2000-2007, followed by the Regions of Dytiki Makedonia, Sterea Ellada and the Region of Notio Aigaio. In the period 2008-2014 the situation is almost at the same level for the Region of Attiki, while there is a decrease in the Regions of Dytiki Makedonia and Sterea Ellada. In the Region of Notio Aigaio there is a slight improvement.
