Evaluación de los beneficios de la aplicación de los incentivos tributarios en el fomento y apoyo de la actividad productiva en Bolivia

Abstract

La política fiscal puede tener importantes efectos en la actividad real de la economía de un país. En el caso de Bolivia, desde 2006, hubo un importante incremento de la inversión pública que permitió dar un impulso a la economía y al sector manufacturero que se convirtió en uno de los principales dinamizadores de la economía. Estos esfuerzos fiscales también fueron acompañados de algunos incentivos tributarios, especialmente en los impuestos aduaneros que buscaron promover y dinamizar la actividad del sector industrial. Mediante un modelo de Vectores Autorregresivos Estructurales (SVAR) se encontró que el impacto de cambios impositivos en el producto del sector manufacturero es significativo pero de corto plazo.
