Agrarian Values, Farm Structure, And Community Welfare

Abstract

This paper argues that heterogeneity rather than homogeneity of ideology and social class characterizes rural communities, and suggests that this heterogeneity prevents a concerted effort to change farm structure or to improve rural communities' welfare, despite public sentiments.
