Tiểu văn hóa đô thị: Khái niệm và lý thuyết

Abstract

Không có định nghĩa thống nhất về “tiểu văn hóa”. Tuy nhiên, đa số học giả đều nhất trí tiểu văn hóa là những nhóm người với những mối quan tâm chung và thực hành chung. Các tiểu văn hóa có những mức độ khác nhau so với văn hóa chủ đạo. Nghiên cứu về tiểu văn hóa đô thị tập trung vào 3 lối tiếp cận/lý thuyết chính: lối tiếp cận sinh thái học của Trường phái Chicago về những “khu vực tự nhiên/natural areas”; lý thuyết thành phần/nhấn mạnh các yếu tố như giai cấp, nghề nghiệp, họ tộc, dân tộc…; “Lý thuyết tiểu văn hóa về tính đô thị” của Claude Fischer nhấn mạnh môi trường đô thị thúc đẩy sự cố kết, sự sáng tạo thể hiện ở các tiểu văn hóa nhờ khối lượng tới hạn.
