Abstract

This article is devoted to the systematization and detailed analysis of the key parameters that determine the level of the state macroeconomic security, as well as the formation of practical directions for strengthening the resistant qualities of the national economic system under martial law. The authors researched the concept of the state macroeconomic security in terms of the relevant forms of analytical parameters for the assessment. Analytical parameters for assessing the level of the state macroeconomic security were differentiated into the following groups: a group of general economic security parameters, a group of financial security parameters, and a group of socio-economic security parameters. A thorough retrospective analysis of the key parameters of macroeconomic security assessment was carried out on the example of the national economy of Ukraine in terms such indicators as the gross domestic product, the unemployment rate, inflationary processes and individual structural indicators of the expenditure part of the state budget. In the course of the study, a high level of influence of the martial law factor on the level of the main security indicators of the domestic macro-environment was established, which manifests itself in the corresponding downward dynamics during the period of 2022-2023. In addition, the propensity of the domestic macroeconomic environment to the influence of global crisis phenomena was established, which is confirmed by the dynamics of the studied indicators during the global financial crisis and the coronavirus disease pandemic. The obtained analytical conclusions made it possible to identify a list of problems in the ensuring macroeconomic security of Ukraine in wartime conditions, dividing them depending on the source of origin into external and internal. As part of the study, a list of promising directions for strengthening the resistant qualities of the national economic system in the conditions of martial law, aimed at the construction and effective implementation of systemic state policy, which should comprehensively take into account current security challenges, needs to restore destroyed infrastructure and social factors, has been developed.
