Abstract

The article examines the influence of digitalization on the development of regional economic systems in the modern conditions of the formation of a post-industrial society. It was found that digitization represents a post-industrial economy, which is based on the active implementation of innovations and information and communication technologies in all spheres of business processes and social life of the population as a whole. Regardless of the macro level of this issue, the issue of digitalization of the economy should be resolved precisely at the regional level, as it makes it possible to take into account the existing potential of the regions and reveal its latent capabilities. It is substantiated that the directions of digital transformation of the economy for Ukraine should include incentives from the authorities to promote the digitalization of business, the development of digital infrastructure, and the renewal of projects based on the principles of Industry 4.0. Key factors in the development of Industry 4.0. in Ukraine, it was determined: consolidation of government structures and stakeholders in matters of formation and implementation of programs for the development of digital technologies; solving the problems of the domestic market by involving the IT sector in the process of solving current problems of industrial production based on consulting in terms of business practices and high-tech technologies; formation of a modern innovation ecosystem of industrial segments and their cooperation with the research and innovation sector; integration into the world chains of Industry 4.0. It is necessary to pay more attention to the development of electronic commerce, the formation of IT ecosystems. The implementation of such measures will allow Ukraine to compete on an equal footing with European countries in the digital space in the near future and promote the introduction of new ecosystems in various sectors of the economy.
