Abstract

The operational activity of the enterprise is the basis of its internal business processes. The efficiency of operational activity is a necessary prerequisite for the development of the enterprise and ensuring its competitiveness in the long term. The complexity of the concept of efficiency and the variety of operational activities of enterprises require appropriate evaluation indicators of its level. Therefore, ensuring the proper management of the efficiency of the enterprise’s activity requires the correct selection of the necessary indicators of the evaluated type of efficiency in order to ensure the management decisions that are relevant at the moment. The rapid growth of motorization leads to the growth of the sector of the economy related to technical maintenance and repair of auto equipment, which is constantly developing. Among the competitive factors of enterprises in this sector of the economy, an important role is played by the quality of management of the operational activities of such enterprises, which is connected with the systematic measurement of the efficiency of their activities. The authors recommended a system of short-, medium- and long-term indicators, the analysis of which allows managers of specialized enterprises to develop effective management solutions in their systemic management work. The proposed system of performance indicators will help to conduct a more structured analysis of the efficiency of the enterprise’s operational activity and will make it possible to identify the main problems of its provision and hidden reserves. The development and use of such indicators will be one of the advantages in the competitive environment of this sector of the economy.
