Abstract

The article reveals the content and features of managing the effectiveness of the business organization’s activities in the conditions of martial law. It has been established that "efficiency" in general and "efficiency management" in particular are fundamental economic categories. In this regard, the absence of a single generalizing approach to the disclosure of the meaning of the term "efficiency management" is substantiated. According to the results of the analysis, it is proposed to understand under the management of the effectiveness of the business organization’s activity "the process of ensuring the effectiveness of the organization, which is based on its ability to implement an adequate strategic goal setting with full consideration of the state and trends of changes in the external environment of operation, to create and use the collective potential that provides maximum satisfaction consumers and market requirements in the product and obtaining economic advantages compared to other business entities with optimal spending of necessary resources". The object and subject of management, as well as the goal, which is achieved within the framework of a continuous cyclical process of goal setting (goal setting), planning, organization, motivation, control, are defined. The unifying processes of performance management are decision-making and communication. It was concluded that in the conditions of Ukraine, the concept of activity efficiency management is an extremely relevant and mandatory component of the strategic management system of a modern business organization. At the end of the article, the current state of the business environment and the problems faced by domestic business organizations after February 24, 2022 are described in the most general form. The main areas most affected by Russian aggression are : agriculture, IT, energy, metallurgy, logistics, insurance market. The main directions of state support for domestic companies to mitigate the consequences of the challenge are highlighted: total deregulation, liberalization and strengthening of state support.
