Finansal Sağlamlığın Maden Firmalarının Finansal Performansları Üzerine Etkisi Türkiye ve BRICS Ülkeleri Üzerine Uygulama

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Madencilik sektöründe faaliyet gösteren firmaların finansal sağlamlıklarının firmaların finansal performansları üzerine etkisini araştırmaktır. Madencilik sektörü diğer tüm sektörleri etkileme gücüne sahip olması sebebiyle önemli bir sektör durumundadır. Üretim yönetiminde üretimin ilk aşaması olan birincil (primer) üretim sektörüdür. Bu sektörün başarısızlığa uğraması diğer sektörleri derinden etkileyecektir. Bu durum bu sektörde finansal sağlamlığın analiz edilmesi ve ortaya çıkabilecek sorunların belirlenip gerekli önlemler alınmasını sağlayacaktır. Çalışmada veriler BRICS Ülkelerinde ve Türkiye’de maden sektöründe halka açık şirketlerin 2009-2019 döneminde finansal tablolarından alınmıştır. Finansal sağlamlık değişkenleri ve sektör performansını gösteren değişkenler seçilerek analiz yapılmıştır. Çalışmada yöntem olarak GMM uygulanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda; şirket performansının borç vade yapısı, öz kaynağın toplam kaynak içerisindeki payı, likidite oranı, alacak devir hızı, stok devir hızı ve varlık devir hızının firma performansı üzerinde yoğun etkisinin olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Firmalar yabancı kaynak temininde konjonktürel şartları göz önünde bulundurmalıdır. Sermaye bileşimi oluşturulurken ülkedeki makroekonomik değişkenler başta faiz olmak üzere takip edilmeli ve buna göre kararlar alınmalıdır. Yabancı kaynağın vadesi yine ülkedeki durum göze alınarak belirlenmelidir.
