Abstract

While governments are deploying substantial resources to lower the cost of labour (tax credits for competitiveness and jobs, Responsibility Pact, etc.) and help to improve the financial position of companies, it is useful to characterise this situation using reliable metrics from different sources (national accounts, new base year, surveys, individual data, etc.).
