The Banque de France in European and international organisations

Abstract

The Banque de France exerts an active role within European and international organizations, in the conduct of monetary policy, in the area of regulation and the maintenance of fi nancial stability and, in conjunction with the Ministry for the Economy, Finance and Industry, as France’s representative within multilateral organizations and forums, such as the G20 Finance meetings held in Paris on 18 and 19 February 2011 and co-chaired by the Banque de France and the Ministry.
