Abstract

U ovom radu analiziraju se proizvodni potencijali prerađivačke industrije Srbije na početku drugog talasa tranzicije kako bi se dao odgovor na pitanje da li su nezadovoljavajući rezultati oporavka proizvodnje tokom tranzicionog perioda mogli biti izbegnuti. U tom cilju dat je pregled vrednosti industrijskih kapaciteta i njihove iskorišćenosti na početku tranzicionog perioda, razmotreni su potencijali koje Srbija poseduje i koje može iskoristiti za rast proizvodnje i analizirani su rezultati poslovanja privatizovanih industrijskih preduzeća u periodu 2002-2012. Usled neadekvatnog modela privatizacije i neodgovarajuće ekonomske politike, nivo prerađivačke industrije Srbije još uvek se nalazi ispod 50% nivoa ostvarenog 1989. godine. U prerađivačkoj industriji i dalje dominiraju nedovoljno oporavljena bivša društvena preduzeća.
