Inteligencia artificial en los servicios financieros

Abstract

El uso de herramientas de inteligencia artificial está proliferando en los últimos tiempos en todos los sectores de la economía, debido, entre otras cuestiones, al creciente volumen de datos digitales y al aumento de la capacidad computacional. La aplicación de estas herramientas a la provisión de servicios financieros puede derivar en importantes beneficios no solo para las entidades, sino también para la sociedad en su conjunto. El presente artículo enumera algunos de ellos, así como los casos de uso más destacados, por parte tanto de las entidades financieras como de los propios bancos centrales. Asimismo, se señalan las principales limitaciones que presenta esta tecnología y las implicaciones que pueden tener para el buen funcionamiento del sistema financiero.
