Abstract

El presente documento es editado sobre el contenido de las exposiciones llevadas a cabo en el Seminario Internacional Desafíos de las Políticas Sociales: Superación de la Pobreza e Integración Social en América Latina, está orientado a poner a consideración del país propuestas que podrán enriquecerse con el concurso de la ciudadanía. El contenido del libro se divide en tres partes. La primera, Propuestas de Política Social para el Perú, se centra sobre los planteamientos del gobierno para superar los desafíos actuales en materia de política social. En la segunda parte, Experiencias sobre política social en América Latina; y en la tercera parte, Los principales retos para la política social peruana: generación de empleo y superación de la pobreza. Este documento fue publicado en el año 2002, gracias al auspicio del Fondo Nacional de Compensación y Desarrollo Social (Foncodes) y el Consorcio de Investigación Económica y Social (CIES).
