Abstract

La Revista propone alentar miradas científicas de la educación peruana e internacional desde diferentes disciplinas académicas y epistemologías, aunque por cierto alentando formas interdisciplinarias y mixtas de investigar, siempre que sea utilizando marcos conceptuales y metodológicos académicamente rigurosos. Por otro lado, siendo el campo de estudio la educación, se busca que los artículos a publicar logren un balance entre la construcción de conocimiento y aporte teórico y la discusión de sus implicancias para las políticas educativas. Este primer número incluye algunos de los principales artículos presentados en el primer Seminario de la Sociedad de Investigación Educativa Peruana (SIEP) en Arequipa, en noviembre de 2008. Esta edición se publicó en el año 2009, gracias al auspicio del Consorcio de Investigación Económica y Social y la Fundación Ford, sede subregional Santiago de Chile.
