Guía para elaborar investigaciones periodísticas sobre trata de personas

Abstract

Este dossier para la prensa pretende fomentar la investigación periodística responsable sobre la trata de personas. Para ello, ofrece una introducción a este problema en el Perú, presentando información histórica, normativa, y cifras actualizadas a nivel regional y nacional. Asimismo, guía al lector en una ruta para la realización de estudios periodísticos sobre el tema, ofreciendo recursos relevantes a consultar, pasos a seguir antes y durante el trabajo de campo, así como pautas para la redacción y selección de imágenes previas a la publicación. A lo largo del escrito, se incluyen lecciones aprendidas por periodistas y actores estatales vinculados al abordaje del problema y consejos relevantes para su tratamiento. El documento, elaborado por la periodista Lourdes Fernández, se enmarca en el proyecto No más mujeres invisibles, ejecutado por CIES y Promsex gracias al financiamiento del Fondo Fiduciario de la ONU para Eliminar la Violencia contra la Mujer. Confiamos en que constituirá un aporte para un proceso integrado en el que cada uno, desde el lugar que ocupa, se comprometa a trabajar por un mundo sin violencia.
