Inserción en la economía Internacional. Balance de investigación 2007-2011 y agenda 2012-2016

Abstract

Esta investigación corresponde al capítulo 3 del libro La investigación económica y social en el Perú. Balance 2007-2011 y agenda 2012-2016, serie CIES Diagnóstico y Propuesta 53, 2012, pp. 93 a 126. Basado en la revisión de una muestra representativa de estudios elaborados en el período 2007-2011 referidos a la inserción del Perú en la economía internacional, el documento evalúa, por un lado, los resultados mostrados en dicha literatura sobre la incidencia de la inserción internacional en el desarrollo económico del Perú. Por otro lado, identifica políticas públicas y presenta una agenda preliminar de investigación para que tales políticas y estudios aporten a una mayor inserción internacional de la economía peruana. Para tal efecto, el capítulo se divide en tres secciones; la primera, revisa y analiza el conjunto de estudios publicados en el período 2007- 2011; la segunda, describe los resultados de una encuesta aplicada a expertos peruanos en el área internacional, y presenta las recomendaciones de política económica y la agenda de investigación que estos proponen; y la tercera sección plantea las conclusiones finales. Este estudio se desarrolló como resultado del XIII Concurso Anual de Investigación CIES 2011, con el auspicio del Centro Internacional de Investigaciones para el Desarrollo (IDRC, por sus siglas en inglés) y la Fundación Manuel J. Bustamante de la Fuente.
