¿Qué factores determinan la violencia doméstica de pareja y su recurrencia en el Perú? (Fact Violencia)

Abstract

Utilizando datos recientes (ENARES 2019, ENDES 2022 y ENAHO 2022) y tres estrategias econométricas diferenciadas (Logib/Probit, Logit ordinal y Logit multinivel), el estudio identifica los factores protectores y de riesgo que contribuyen o reducen la violencia de género, diferenciando entre los diferentes tipos de violencia (física, psicológica, sexual y económica) y su frecuencia, a nivel nacional y departamental. Los resultados muestran que la educación y la decisión del gasto en el hogar compartida son factores protectores ante cualquier violencia. En contraste, haber experimentado o presenciado violencia en la niñez exacerba el riesgo de sufrirla en adultez. La raza indígena y la participación laboral femenina son factores de riesgo para la violencia física, sexual y psicológica. Además, el estudio destaca el patrón intergeneracional de la violencia y plantea cuatro recomendaciones de políticas para prevenir y reducir su incidencia.
