Impacto de la migración venezolana en la presión de servicios urbanos en Lima y Callao

Abstract

El estudio busca evaluar el impacto de la inmigración venezolana en la presión de los servicios urbanos de salud, educación y vivienda en Lima Metropolitana y Callao. Se implementó una estrategia de identificación de variables instrumentales basada en el patrón de asentamiento pasado. Los resultados sugieren que la inmigración venezolana no habría tenido impactos en la presión de servicios de primer orden de educación, salud, en el acceso a vivienda o incluso en la victimización, aunque sí se aprecian impactos sobre los montos pagados en salud, en alquiler de vivienda y levemente en las tasas de promoción escolar. Estos resultados alertan sobre la necesidad de, por un lado, atender a estudiantes vulnerables con desventaja de aprendizajes de grupos vulnerables y, por otro, atender el problema de acceso a vivienda social para segmentos de bajos ingresos que se ha visto reducido últimamente en el Perú.
