La Dimensión Urbana de la Migración Venezolana en Lima Metropolitana: Vivienda, Trayectorias Residenciales y Procesos de Segregación

Abstract

La migración venezolana es definitivamente uno de los fenómenos más importantes para la sociedad peruana en el presente siglo. Perú es actualmente el segundo país del mundo con mayor presencia de esta población, pero Lima Metropolitana es la primera ciudad del continente, y del mundo, con mayor presencia de la misma. Lima actualmente bordea los 10 millones de habitantes, de los cuales aproximadamente 1.1 millones son migrantes venezolanos (El Peruano, 24 de junio 2022). Tanto cuantitativa como cualitativamente, esta es una transformación más que significativa para el Perú, para las principales ciudades del país, y particularmente para Lima.
