Derechos civiles y discriminación. Balance de investigación 2016-2021 y agenda de investigación 2021-2026

Abstract

El presente documento parte de dos horizontes de investigación: el Bicentenario y la pandemia del Covid-19. Los 200 años de la Independencia del Perú son un telón de fondo para una serie de discusiones académicas y políticas sobre la construcción de la ciudadanía en nuestro país. El segundo horizonte se justifica en la novedad e importancia de la pandemia generada por el Covid-19 en el contexto peruano. En materia de discriminación y acceso a derechos, la pandemia ha visibilizado (y exacerbado) muchos de los problemas endémicos de la sociedad peruana. Además, ha logrado poner en agenda algunos otros problemas que no solían ser tan abordados desde la literatura, como la salud mental y la conectividad a internet. En ese sentido, los puntos o temas de estudio están en desarrollo, resaltando entre ellos, los efectos generados a corto y largo plazo y las respuestas del Estado y de la sociedad civil. Este estudio se desarrolló como resultado del XXIII Concurso Anual de investigación CIES 2021-I y forma parte del compendio del Balance de Investigación 2016-2021 y Agenda de Investigación 2021-2026. Es auspiciado por la Fundación Manuel J. Bustamante de la Fuente, el Centro Internacional de Investigaciones para el Desarrollo (IDRC, por sus siglas en inglés) y el Consorcio de Investigación Económica y Social (CIES).
