Educación. Balance de investigación 2016-2021 y agenda de investigación 2021-2026

Abstract

La investigación educativa en el país es clave para informar las políticas públicas y programas educativos, así como las posibilidades de transformación de la educación peruana. A diferencia del período 2011-2016, dos elementos han caracterizado el quinquenio 2016-2021: la crisis de gobernanza y la crisis sanitaria ocasionada por la COVID-19. Aun así, tal como se detalla en las reflexiones finales, ha existido un número importante de políticas y reformas que lograron mantenerse a través de los diversos cambios ministeriales y presidenciales. Sumado a ello, este balance inaugura el inicio del Bicentenario, evento histórico que nos permite cuestionarnos por la educación de nuestro pasado y la que necesitamos para nuestro futuro. Por otro lado, un documento importante a considerar es el Proyecto Educativo Nacional (PEN) al 2036: una ruta para el Perú del Bicentenario, el cual plantea cuatro propósitos para la educación: ciudadanía, bienestar socioemocional, equidad y productividad e innovación. En ese sentido, será clave leer la investigación educativa presentada en ese marco. Este estudio se desarrolló como resultado del XXIII Concurso Anual de investigación CIES 2021-I y forma parte del compendio del Balance de Investigación 2016-2021 y Agenda de Investigación 2021-2026. Es auspiciado por la Fundación Manuel J. Bustamante de la Fuente, el Centro Internacional de Investigaciones para el Desarrollo (IDRC, por sus siglas en inglés) y el Consorcio de Investigación Económica y Social (CIES).
