Violencia contra las mujeres en relaciones de pareja: patrones de victimización y tipología de agresores

Abstract

Dos problemas limitan la comprensión de la violencia contra las mujeres: la homogenización de las víctimas y la homogenización de los agresores. Ambas derivan del uso agregado y descontextualizado de las estadísticas y de la generación de imágenes poco representativas de víctimas y agresores en la investigación. En este trabajo, más bien, se explora la heterogeneidad de ambos grupos mediante la construcción de patrones de victimización (Endes 2010-2017; N = 53,905) y la identificación de tipos de agresores (344 reos). Los resultados nos permitieron hallar cuatro patrones de victimización: Control Limitado, Control Extendido, Control Violento Regular y Control Violento con Riesgo de Feminicidio. Asimismo, se hallaron tres tipos de agresores: Violentos en lo Familiar de Baja Intensidad, Violentos en lo Familiar de Alta Intensidad y Violentos en General. El estudio se desarrolló en el marco del Concurso Anual de Investigación CIES 2017, con el auspicio de Global Affairs Canada (GAC), el Centro Internacional de Investigaciones para el Desarrollo (IDRC, por sus siglas en inglés), la Fundación Manuel J. Bustamante De la Fuente, la Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administración Tributaria (SUNAT) y el Consorcio de Investigación Económica y Social (CIES).
