Derechos civiles y discriminación. Balance de Investigación en Políticas Públicas 2011-2016 y Agenda de Investigación 2017-2021

Abstract

Esta investigación forma parte del capítulo 2 del libro Balance de investigación en políticas públicas 2011-2016 y agenda de investigación 2017-2021. El presente documento contiene una revisión de la producción de estudios sobre la discriminación y el recorte de los derechos civiles en el Perú en el último quinquenio. Para ello, se hizo una revisión bibliográfica y una extrapolación de las prioridades de investigación en torno al tema. Conocer diferentes formas de discriminación y limitación de los derechos civiles de diferentes grupos sociales nos ayuda a entender mejor cómo combatirlas. Por lo mismo, las conclusiones y la agenda de investigación sugerida para los siguientes años emergen de las lecturas y de una síntesis de preguntas de investigación. El fin es llegar a estudios en favor de la construcción de una sociedad plenamente democrática como el Perú aspira a ser. El estudio contó con el financiamiento de Global Affairs Canada (GAC) y el Centro Internacional de Investigaciones para el Desarrollo (IDRC), por sus siglas en inglés.
