Efecto económico del cambio climático sobre los cultivos permanentes de la agricultura peruana: período 2011-2050

Abstract

En el marco de la ejecución de la Declaración de París sobre la eficacia de la ayuda al desarrollo, se creó el Fondo de Estudios y Consultorías Belga Peruano – FECBP, el cual tiene como objetivo global: fortalecer las capacidades de las instituciones públicas (conocida por el Fondo como socia o beneficiaria) del Perú, permitiendo estrategias de desarrollo y modernización de las instituciones públicas, en apoyo al Programa de Cooperación Belga-Peruano. Este objetivo debe estar alineado a dos sectores priorizados: apoyo a la política de aseguramiento universal en salud; y, desarrollo económico sostenible y gestión estratégica de los recursos naturales. Este estudio plantea cuantificar monetariamente el impacto del cambio climático en la agricultura peruana, proponiendo un análisis desagregado de dos maneras: (i) por principales cultivos permanentes y (ii) por departamentos en los cuales estos cultivos son sembrados. Los cultivos a analizar son: mango, naranja, limón sutil, palta y cacao. El estudio contó con el auspicio del Fondo de Estudios y Consultorías Belga Peruano (FECBP), con la participación de la Agencia Peruana de Cooperación Internacional (APCI) y la Cooperación Técnica Belga (CTB).
