Abstract

Congreso de la República - CIES 2004 y 2005.- En el marco del primer Convenio de Cooperación Interinstitucional firmado con el Presidente del Congreso 2004-2005, Henry Pease, se organizó con el Centro de Investigación Parlamentaria (CIP) un ciclo de seis talleres (cuatro en el 2005 y dos en el 2006) de actualización para el debate legislativo denominado Diálogos Parlamentarios dirigido a asesores de las diversas comisiones parlamentarias. Se editaron dos folletos que condensan los aportes desarrollados en los talleres. En el año 2004, a propósito del debate presupuestal 2005 se realizaron entre setiembre y noviembre, 4 talleres referidos a: la Economía peruana: la ruta propuesta; Pensiones y jubilados, el decreto ley 20530; Pobreza: invertir más y mejor; y, la Salud Pública: un tema postergado. Más delante en el año 2005, el CIES y el CIP organizaron dos talleres adicionales para examinar el impacto del Presupuesto Público 2006 en los dos aspectos fundamentales de las políticas públicas como son la Educación y la Salud. El CIP es una entidad cuyo propósito es fortalecer las capacidades del Parlamento, en el año 2010 el CIP cambió su nombre a Centro de Investigación y Documentación Parlamentaria.
