Abstract

This publication presents the results of a descriptive analysis of the indebtedness of non-financial enterprises in Bulgaria during the period 2014 – 2020. The information array used was provided by the NSI. The research methodology includes the use of financial and statistical methods through which the general state of corporate indebtedness among non-financial enterprises in the country is established, as well as the main characteristics of indebtedness relationships with widely accepted absolute and relative financial indicators. The research establishes an improvement in the main coefficients for measuring the indebtedness of non-financial enterprises during the period, as well as that the level of their corporate liabilities does not represent a brake on economic growth in Bulgaria.
