Abstract

While banks’ capital positions were significantly strengthened under the Eba’s recapitalisation exercise, it is now important to conduct, in a coordinated fashion and on a comparable basis across the Eu, asset quality reviews on major Eu banks, since appropriately reviewed balance sheets are a key input to an effective stress test
