Finance and growth, the Italian experience

Abstract

An efficient banking and financial sector affects economic growth in a positive way. Despite the crisis, Italian banks have financed the economy and have been able to reduce non performing loans, to realize relevant operations of restructuring, enhancing innovative technological and digital channels. Commercial policies inspired by ethical values contribute to supporting the economy in the businesses and households interests and respecting workers’ skills
